Thus, according to submitted data by Bureau for Migration and Asylum of the Republic of Moldova (BMA) for Moldova.ORG, 18.521 foreign citizens held permanent residence permit, and other 10.002 foreign citizens held temporary residence permit.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.moldova.org\/old\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/jesus.jpg\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-414676\" src=\"http:\/\/www.moldova.org\/old\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/jesus-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"jesus\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" \/><\/a>\u201cThe Republic of Moldova could become attractive for foreign students if universities from offered more study programs in English language\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Jesus Sovka Vizion\u00e1\u0159\u00a0is one of the 2300 young people from foreign countries which chose the Republic of Moldova for his studies.<\/p>\n<p>He is a student at the Moldova State University and he says that he chose our country because he had made some friends from Moldova in his home town from Spain, Granada. \u201cThus, I probably would be in South America studying the similar projects,\u201d the young man says, the one who work on a study in Cooperation sphere in\u00a0C\u0103rpineni\u00a0village, H\u00e2nce\u0219ti district.<\/p>\n<p>Although he often meets communication problems due to English is not very popular in Chisinau. Jesus says that teachers and his mates from university help him a lot. People from the street are also very friendly and ready to help at the need.<\/p>\n<p>This man says that it is easy to get a residence permit in the Republic of Moldova and he did not encounter difficulties. &#8220;The only problem is that obtaining a residence permit takes more than a month,&#8221; he says.<\/p>\n<p>Moldova\u00a0could become attractive for foreigners if Chisinau universities offered more study programs in English, the young person mentions.&#8221; In their absence, students will only come from Romania and maybe some crazy Spanish,\u201d he smiles adding that even if he knows a little Romanian language, nonverbal language and \u201cbenevolent young people from the street\u201d will always help him.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.moldova.org\/old\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/maggie-muth.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-414677\" src=\"http:\/\/www.moldova.org\/old\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/maggie-muth-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"maggie muth\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" \/><\/a>\u201cMoldova is not like other countries where you can get anywhere using Google map\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>American woman Maggie Muth lived in many countries from many continents last few years, but the last year she moved in Moldova thanks to the job that her husband had got in Chisinau.<\/p>\n<p>Maggie says that even if she sometimes has problems with communication, she likes Chisinau. Here people are friendly and enthusiastic about the foreign people. She spends her free time for persons from Chisinau who have mental handicap where she teaches the art free.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I&#8217;ve learned how to say in Russian&#8221; I\u2019m sorry. I speak English &#8220;. Then I realized that shop owners are very patient and friendly. Some sellers are very busy at times, but mostly they are curious and want to know where I am from and what I think about Chisinau,&#8221; Maggie says.<\/p>\n<p>Maggie mentions that the hardest part for a foreigner in Moldova is to get to specific places. &#8220;Moldova is not like other countries, where, after finding the map location you&#8217;re interested, you are able to get there very easily using Google map, such as restaurants, shops or trolley schedule information,&#8221; she adds.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The reasons of their moving in the Republic of Moldova<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>According to BMA: 3399 foreign people requested residence permits for family reunification; 1364 \u2013 for engaging at the work; 324 \u2013 for humanitarian, religious and voluntary activities. At the same time, there are 502 of foreign investors and 2299 students from other countries in the Republic of Moldova.<\/p>\n<p>There are 3661 foreign people recorded in Transnistria: 3286 have permanent residence permit and 375 have temporary residence permit.<\/p>\n<p>The most of foreign citizens which have chosen Moldova for a place of working are from Romania, Turkey and Italy.
