The Federal Service of Veterinary and Sanitary Control of Russia (Rosselhoznadzor) banned the access for a shipping of about twenty tones of potatoes from Republic of Moldova, transported by Belarus.<\/p>\n

According to Interfax<\/a>, Rosselhoznadzor motivated its decision by declaring that the potatoes were transported with several violations of the sanitary laws.<\/p>\n

Russia returned about 80 tons of vegetables and fruits: 20 tons of potatoes from Belarus, 38 tons of Moroccan apples and pears and others, saying that they were transported without any labels of information.<\/p>\n

The shipping was retained at \u201dKrasnaya Gorka\u201d checkpoint in Smolensk region.<\/p>\n
