The protesters complained about the bad situation in the monetary market and the serious depreciation of the Moldovan currency, Leu.<\/p>\n<p>They asked the authorities to intervene in order to fix the problem.<\/p>\n<p>The participants had several posters with the messages: &#8220;Give our money back!&#8221;, &#8220;Sorry, but we are not producing as much as you steal!&#8221;, &#8220;Get the Leu back!&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I came to prove that I care and I am affected by the game on the monetary market. I want to live in a stable society and I want to know that our state doesn&#8217;t rob us&#8221;, said Maria Cernat, one of the young protesters.<\/p>\n<p>The organizers asked the participants to address messages to politicians by collecting them in a box.<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, a series of protests will take place in the center of Chisinau beginning from 24 of February. \u00a0The organizers say that they will ask every evening a European General Prosecutor. &#8220;We want the Prosecutor to be selected and elected by the people, by in the meantime, to be European one&#8221;, said Daniela Cibotari for Moldova.ORG.<\/p>\n<p>The protests will last for 15 minutes and will be absolutely peaceful.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We&#8217;ll do it in every evening, at 18:30, until we are 100, 1000 or even more and until we are heard. Yes, until we have A General Prosecutor from EU. It is our last option to do justice.
