The Russian peace-keeping forces from Transnistria, the separatist region of Moldova, cannot receive their salaries, says dniester.ru<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The soldiers usually receive the money in Russian rubles, but due to the severe depreciation of the ruble, the commercial banks refused to operate with this currency. They can exchange the money on the right bank of Nistru river, but they are not able to do this because of the Moldovan legal authorities.<\/p>\n

Their families got in the same bowl because most of the soldiers live in Transnistria. They demanded the separatist authorities to solve this problem as soon as possible.<\/p>\n

According to the statistics, Russia has 1200 soldiers in Transnistria as ”peace-keeping” forces. The authorities from Chisinau asked Russia several times to retreat their troops and form an international observatory group, but Moscow and Tiraspol disagreed.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
