The organization of the Winter Olympic Games at Sochi costed Russia about 7 billion dollars, but it also costed a lot the families from the Ex-soviet countries\u00a0who lost forever their relatives.<\/p>\n

The Black Sea<\/a> project, an international journalistic project, did a research on Moldovans who worked on the construction of the Olympic site along with other 70 000 migrants and investigated several cases of deaths happened there.<\/p>\n

According to the authorities, 33 of Moldovan citizens died at Sochi from 2009 until now.<\/p>\n

An example is the case of Mihai Cernisov who, being only 22 years old, died while working on the construction site. He had gone to Sochi to earn money for his future apartment, letting his pregnant wife alone, but he didn’t return.<\/p>\n
