The Socialists’ Party of Republic of Moldova contested to the Constitutional Court, on Monday, 8 of December, the results of the Parliamentary elections that took place on 30 of November. The party also asked to repeat the elections.<\/p>\n

The Socialists claim that the elections have been organized with several faults and strong violations of the law.<\/p>\n

According to them, the current Government is responsible for prohibiting the voting with the old Soviet passports, that let 150 000 people without the permission to vote. They also showed their concerns about the dubious removing of the Patria party and\u00a0about\u00a0the bad functioning of the national electronic register.<\/p>\n

”The Socialists’ Party dislikes the way the Parliamentary elections have been held and asks to organize new elections. We want to make every international organizations know that the voting process happened with serious violations and that the current results are not results of a democratic process”, it mentions in the press release of the party.<\/p>\n

The Socialists’ Party of Moldova got 20,51% of people’s votes at the Parliamentary elections on 30 of November 2014. The party claims for closer relations with Russia and integration within the Customs Union(Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan), but also the break of the Association Agreement with the European Union.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
