The Appeal Court from Chi\u0219in\u0103u decided on 27 of November to approve the decision of the Central Electoral Commission to take off the race the Patria party, led by Renato Usat\u00e2i.<\/p>\n

The decision was made based on the fact that the party apparently received money coming from Russia, but also due to the extremist activities promoted by several party members.<\/p>\n

The Court decided also to take all the foreign financial resources(8,1 million lei) from the party and give it to the state, as an income for the treasury.<\/p>\n

Usat\u00e2i, a Russian businessman with Moldovan origins, declared that the decision is based on political purposes and is just a scene made up by the government.<\/p>\n

The decision wasn’t welcomed by several organizations and missions, including the US Embassy who expressed its concern about the legality of this move and called all the electoral candidates to obey the basic principles of democracy.<\/p>\n

The parliamentary elections are scheduled on Sunday, 30 of November 2014.\u00a0The polls show that five political parties will enter in the new Parliament: the Communists Party, the Liberal-Democrat Party, the Democrat Party, the Liberal Party and the Socialists party.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
