The Russian Federal Agency for Food Safety Rosselhozdnadzor is open to start negotiations with Republic of Moldova on the topic of cancelling the restrictions on the import of Moldovan meat and fruits. In order to do this, the authorities from Chi\u0219in\u0103u would have to create a system of preventing the products from EU to get into Russian market.<\/p>\n

This statement was made on Thursday, 18 of November, by the assistant chairman of the Agency, Alexey Alexeenko, for Ria-Novosti<\/a>.<\/p>\n

”We know that Moldova is always available to initiate these negotiations. We are consulting now. I think that we will have agreements soon- it is just a matter of time, that can be solved through the embassies of the countries”, said Alexeenko.<\/p>\n

The Moldovan authorities still state that the sanctions put by Russia is just a kind of political punishment, not economical, as a consequence of the signing of the Association Agreement between Moldova and the European Union.<\/p>\n

Russia banned recently the import of meat on 1 of November, the import of fruits on 21 of July 2014, and put complete embargo on Moldovan wines since September 2013.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
