The communists from Ceadar-Lunga, Gagauzia, an autonomy from the south of Moldova, financed the rehabilitation of the monument of the Socialist leader Vladimir Lenin form the center of the town. The base and the stairs were covered with ceramic tiles.<\/p>\n

The statue was covered with golden painting, so it can be somehow remarkable on the background of the grey center of the grey city. The rehabilitation works lasted two weeks.<\/p>\n

The communists from Ceadar-Lunga, quoted by gagauzinfo.md, declared that the rehabilitation works have been done on personal resources, on money of the Communists Party and on the contributions of some sponsors.<\/p>\n
