Republic of Moldova and the European Union signed on Monday, 29 of September, the Agreement of Moldova’s participation in the Program of\u00a0Competitiveness of Enterprises and Small and Medium-sized Enterprises\u00a0<\/span>\u00a02014-2020(COSME). Thus, Moldova is the first member of the Eastern Partnership that joins COSME.<\/p>\n

The Agreement was signed at Bruxelles, by Ferdinardo Nelli Feroci, the European Deputy for Industry and Entrepreneurship, and by Eugen Caras, the chief of Moldovan delegation to European Union.<\/p>\n

The Ministry of Economy of Moldova specifies that the participation in COSME will offer Moldova access to international projects, as the Enterprise Europe Network and will offer assistance to develop and improve the competition between small and medium enterprises.<\/p>\n

Therefore, through the COSME Program, the entrepreneurs from Moldova will benefit of support in the following domains: facilitating the way to new markets as EU, promoting the entrepreneurship and creating fair conditions for business.<\/p>\n

COSME is an EU program with the aim to improve the competition between small and medium enterprises between 2014 and 2020. It has a budget of 2,3 billion of euros.<\/p>\n
