The Prime-Minister of Republic of Moldova, Iurie Leanca, had a meeting with the representatives of the mission of the\u00a0The International Monetary Fund. At the meeting there had been discussed the goals of the second mission of the Fund lead by Max Alier, which is in Moldova to analyze the post-program period in the context of the periodic consults by the status of IMF.<\/p>\n

Max Alier specified that, according to the aim of the mission, the major topics are regarding the prospects and the expectations of the macroeconomic situation in 2014 and for medium terms, taking in consideration of the eventual internal and external vulnerabilities, the budget perspectives for the current year and for medium terms, bu also the situation in the banking system of Moldova.<\/p>\n

Iurie Leanca explained Government’s availability for an open and productive dialogue with the experts from IMF. Leanca mentioned the importance of recommendations and expertise offered by this international financial institution to organizations from Moldova such as the Ministry of Economy, to make sure of financial stability and economic development.<\/p>\n

The parts didn’t discuss about the current economic evolution of Republic of Moldova, in the context of the recent challenges and the measures done for that reason.<\/p>\n

The current mission of IMF will stay in Moldova till 9 of October. The last mission of experts took place during 16-22 of July 2014, to maintain a regular financial exercise, like the IMF requirements demand.<\/p>\n
