Moldova’s Vice Prime-Minister and the Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, Natalia Gherman, discussed with the President of the United States of America, Barack Obama, at the reception organized on Tuesday, 23 of September, at New York, in the context of the 69th General Assembly of United Nations.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

According to a statement made by the Moldovan diplomacy, Natalia Gherman reiterated Moldova’s strategical objective of European Integration, mentioning that USA have a good role in this process.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Barack Obama said he follows and he watches the European way of Republic of Moldova and gave assurances that US will\u00a0support further Moldova in the process of modernizing the country.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In the same day, the Minister Natalia Gherman had a meeting with William Burns, the sub-Secretary of US. The officials talked about the US contribution to the implementation of the Association Agreement EU-RM, of the Free Trade Area Agreement and also about the contribution of American partners to the reforms in Moldova.<\/span><\/p>\n

Moldova’s delegation took part at Climate Summit of UN, where there were presented the national priorities regarding the climate change, that correspond with the priorities of European Union for 2020.<\/span><\/p>\n

The delegation participated also at the Reunion of the\u00a0Open Governments Partnership and at the special event organized by the Free Internet Coalition, where there ere explained the main achievements of Moldova in the domain of E-government. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
