The President of the Republic of Belarus, Alexandr Lukashenko, has the opinion that the relations between Russia and Moldova will get better soon, when the Russian Government will realize that the Free Trade Agreement R.Moldova-EU doesn’t affect its economic interests.<\/span><\/p>\n

“I know the psichology of the Russian leadership and I must say that Russia doesn’t want and doesn’t need any trade war with anyone”, declared Lukashenko. According to him, ” if Moldova and Ukraine will not damage somehow Russia’s economy, then the economic relations between these countries can get back to normal”.<\/span><\/p>\n

He thinks Russia just defends its interests. “We honestly declare, without being afraid of Russia, that we will continue to strongly cooperate with Moldova, despite the embargo. It will not affect our relations with Russia and Kazahstan, members of the Customs Union. We are not cooperating to defeat or help someone specifically, but we are acting for the interest of the relations between Belarus and Moldova”, concluded Belarus president.<\/span><\/p>\n
