Since 2017, Russia will use exclusively Russian components and parts for producing its nuclear submarines. Therefore, the Russian factories won’t import components from two distributors: one from Ukraine and one from Moldova.<\/p>\n

The announcement was made by Eduard Borisov, the council of the manager of Sevmash factory from Severodvinsk, the factory who builds most of the submarines in Russia.<\/p>\n

”We already started to use only Russian parts in the Borei\u00a0project (submarines Yuri Dolgoruki and Aleksandr Nevski). We will use them in the Yasen project too since 2017, when we will stop the flow of components from Moldova and Ukraine”, said Borisov, quoted by RIA-Novosti\u00a0<\/a>. \u00a0The Yasen submarines are a part of 4th genration of the Russian submarines and they are called often as ”the death of flat-tops”, because they may have simple or nuclear bombs that strikes even from 2500 km away.<\/p>\n
