On Monday, 15 of September, the consultations between Georgia and Republic of Moldova regarding the European Integration began in their first round. Moldova’s delegation was lead by the Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, Iulian Groza, and Georgia’s- by the Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mrs.\u00a0Tamar Beruchashvili.<\/p>\n

Mrs. Vice Minister congratulated Moldova for the achieved results on the European way of developing and thanked the delegations for sharing good practices and experiences regarding the process of liberalization of visa regime with European Union.<\/p>\n

There were also discussed some aspects of the implementation of the Association Agreement. The countries agreed on continuous consolidation of cooperation in European Integration, especially when it comes to justice reforms, economical and commercial domains, this while Georgia and Moldova are the first members of the Eastern Partnership who are implementing the conditions of the Free Trade Area with EU. At the end of the day, there was an exchange of opinions regarding the advancement of the relations with EU in the context of the next Summit of the Eastern Partnership at Riga.<\/p>\n

During 15-16 of September, the Georgian delegation will have a series of meetings with officials from different national institutions implied in the process of liberalization of visa regime with EU, like the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Communication and Informational Technology, the National Center of Personal Data Protection and the National Council for prevention of discrimination and for providing equality.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
