Republic of Moldova and Turkey signed on Thursday, September 11, a Free Trade Agreement. The document makes free the trade of about 9000 types of goods and removes all the economic barriers. The officials stated that after this Agreement, the commercial relations between these two countries could be estimated in money for 1 billion dollars until the end of 2015.<\/p>\n

The Minister of Economy of Moldova, Adrian Candu, mentioned that ”Turkey is a key partner that treated Moldova with privilege”.<\/p>\n

The Turk Minister, Nihat Zeybekci, specified that even if Turkey has similar agreements with 21 countries, Moldova opened its market more than others. According to him, the trade process between Moldova and Turkey is estimated at 550 million dollars, but after the Free Trade Agreement, it will be doubled.<\/p>\n

The negotiation of this Agreement lasted almost 3 years. The document says that all the industrial goods, will be traded without customs fees,\u00a0except shoes, furniture and plastic stuff, which Moldova requested a preparatory period of 3-7 years for.<\/p>\n
