Ion Lazarenco, a Moldovan established in Ireland, will swim across the English Channel to support children in need from poor and disadvantaged families. He will swim 40 kilometers in 15C water on one of the days between 15 and 22 September 2014.<\/p>\n

This challenge is not the first one for Ion, who was the first Moldovan that swam the Strait of Gibraltar and the 67th person in the world to complete to swim “The Ice Mile” of 1609 meters in ice arctic water.<\/p>\n

Last year he swam 240km in the Nistru River with the single aim to make a better life for children and old people. Many children have already benefited from his fundraising projects.<\/p>\n

Now it is time for a bigger challenge and for a bigger cause. Help Ion Lazarenco to help others!<\/p>\n
