Russian KGB of Transnistria is watching after every foreign citizen who enters the breakaway region of Moldova to feel sure that there will be no leaked secret information.<\/p>\n

On Tuesday, September 2nd, the Independence Day of so-called Transnistria, KGB accused a citizen of Japan taking photos of region`s borders and military points, without asking for permission.<\/p>\n

After he was detained, it was established that Matsumura Makio, the photographer, took photos of \u2018\u2018Pervomaisk\u2019\u2019 checkpoint. \u2018\u2018Taking in consideration other information about Mr.Matsumura, it was decided to fine him with an administrative sanction of thirty conventional units for violating the special regime of the border area\u2019\u2019, announced KGB on its official site.<\/p>\n

More than that, Mr.Matsumura was taken to the \u2018\u2018Bender-Chi\u0219in\u0103u\u2019\u2019 checkpoint and expelled from Transnistria region.<\/p>\n

Ion Manole, the manager of \u2018\u2018Promo-Lex\u2019\u2019 Association, who announced this case, said that this \u2018\u2018seems more like intimidating the foreign journalists, who reflect clearly the situation in the region\u2019\u2019.<\/p>\n

In the same day, another journalist, Octavian B\u00e2lea, a Romanian photographer, was searched by policemen at Tiraspol, the self-declared capital of Transnistria, while watching the military parade organised for the Independence Day of the region.<\/p>\n

He told for Moldova.ORG that was stopped in the center of the city by an armed civilian, who searched him in details, especially the backpack, where he held his camera and other accessories, and the pockets. Octavian says he didn’t use his camera until the arrest.<\/p>\n

\u2018\u2018I was prohibited to use my camera, and then I was followed by some armed officers of secret forces, dressed as civilians. Of course, I didn’t take any photos and I took the bus to Chi\u0219in\u0103u. I was followed until the bus station of Tiraspol\u2019\u2019, said Octavian.<\/p>\n

Taking these two cases in consideration and including the detained cameraman from PublikaTV on September 1st in Corjova village, now there are three journalists who were intimidated and detained by Transnistria militia and KGB, in just two days.<\/p>\n
