Moldovan tourist agencies no longer offer vacations packages for Crimea. If Crimean beaches were full of Moldovans last year, the latest developments in the region have had a direct impact on tourism. Many have chosen to spend their summer holidays in Turkey, Romania, Bulgaria and Greece.\"\"<\/p>\n

Gabriel Margineanu, the head of the Tourism Industry Association in Moldova, told Moldova.ORG that no agency will sell touristic packages to \u201cdestinations which cannot guarantee safety of citizens.\u201d<\/p>\n

According to him, vacations in Romania, Bulgaria and Greece are often cheaper than the ones in Crimea.<\/p>\n

\u201cRomania is taking advantage of the situation in Crimea; and not only Romania,\u201d Mr. Margineanu said. \u201cAgencies from Bulgaria are willing to work profit-free this summer, just to generate a client database. They offer qualitative services for lower prices than those in Romania.\u201d<\/p>\n

Seven days of All Inclusive holidays in Bulgaria start from 179 Euro, while the same services in Romania start from 200 Euro per person.<\/p>\n

Vera Dorosenco is a Moldovan woman who is currently on vacation in Crimea. This is her sixth year when she goes on holidays in this region. According to her, the atmosphere this year is different than the one in previous years.<\/p>\n
