Hundreds of fighters, costumes, weaponry, music and dances, special program for children, outdoor theater and medieval fairs. All these you can see at the Medieval Festival, organized for the first time in Moldova. It will be held inside of the the Ethno-Cultural Complex “Vatra”, from 31 May to 1 June.<\/p>\n

Organizers promise a various program. Medieval spirit will be presented by professional troops of historical reconstruction from the Republic of Moldova, Romania and Ukraine, which will show the fights with sword and armor. Meanwhile, medieval atmosphere will be provided by Romanian bands \u201eTrei parale\u201d, \u201eAd Hoc\u201d and Nomen Est Omen\u201d.<\/p>\n

The festival will include a medieval fencing joust and archery, and the bravest participants will have the opportunity to try the archery and throwing axes. At the same time, the organizers promise and craft fairs, exhibitions of hand-made objects, master-classes in cookery, dance, painting and sculpture.<\/p>\n

Neither will the children be left to be bored. Special places will be arranged for them at the festival, and the International Children’s Day the organizers promise a special program for the little ones with contests and prizes. Also, travel lovers will be able to have a tourist route to C\u0103priana Monastery.
\nEthno-Cultural Complex “Vatra” is located 32 km away from Chisinau, near the restaurant “La B\u0103di\u0219”.<\/p>\n
