Unrecognized authorities from the left bank of the Dniester, where live about 90 percent of Ukrainian voters officially registered at the Embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of Moldova, blocked \u00a0their access last Sunday to the ballot boxes within the framework of the presidential election.<\/p>\n

On this occasion the declarations were made by the Ukrainian ambassador in the Republic of Moldova Sergey Pirozhkov for UkrInform<\/p>\n

“The authorities from the Transnistrian region openly recommended the ukrainian voters not to take part in the election. For this once the election were held in conditions of total blockade including information one by Transnistrian authorities, where live 90 percent of voters” – Pirozhkov declared.<\/p>\n

Despite this there were 470 people from the region who participated in the elections, what in ukrainian diplomat’s opinion is a positive result.<\/p>\n

Altogether two precincts were opened at the Ukrainian Embassy in Chisinau and at consulate from Balti, where participated 782 voters.<\/p>\n

Sergey Pirozhkov qualified this election as a historical event.<\/p>\n
