Poland offers Moldova a financial aid worth 100 million Euro. The document was signed in Warsaw on Wednesday by Moldovan Prime Minister Iurie Leanca and his Polish counterpart Donald Tusk.<\/p>\n

The money is granted for 25 years, with an annual interest rate of 0.15%.<\/p>\n

According to the Moldovan Government, the money will be used to finance modernization projects in food and agriculture sectors. The funding will also be used to acquire modern technology for food production. The accord is designed to ensure the application of the Association Agreement between Moldova and the European Union, deal expected to be signed on June 27.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is not a loan; this is an investment in the future of the Republic of Moldova,\u201d Premier Leanca said.<\/p>\n

Prime Minister Tusk said the deal is mutually beneficial, as it will enhance the bilateral relations in the modernization process of the food sector.<\/p>\n
