The Bureau for Interethnic Relations launched yesterday in Chisinau the project “Back2Moldova” aimed at developing relations with migrants who intend to return permanently or temporarily to the Republic of Moldova. According to the initiators, the project aims to support Moldovans back home. “Back2Moldova” will support and promote migrants’ personal projects implemented in Moldova.<\/div>\n

“I am pleased that the way of perceiving diaspora has changed in recent years, as well as diaspora representatives have changed attitude towards the homeland. The current government sees clearly enough the situation, so that migrants are encouraged to return home even for a short period of time, including through Back2Moldova project, in order to perform activities and implement personal projects”, said the project coordinator Olga Coptu.<\/div>\n

The event focused on launching the music track “We will return”, sung by Viorel Buliga, the composer Jan Raiburg, the text by Valentin Dulce, the arrangement by Ion Linkovsky. The singer is a young migrant who after a stay of over 10 years in Italy, returned with his family to their native country. The composer Jan Raiburg talked about his experience of migrant and about the begining of this collaboration after a concert performed for the Italian diaspora.<\/div>\n

During the same event, the Labour Minister Valentina Buliga, encouraged Moldovans to return home and appreciated their work and efforts performed in foreign countries.
