The Government of Moldova decided to increase the child benefits by 500 lei (27 Euro). Therefore, families having their first child will receive a single allowance of 3,100 lei (170 euro), and 3,400 (185 Euro) for the second born child.<\/p>\n

Furthermore, the government will pay 100 lei (5 Euro) more for child support until he or she is 1.5 years old. Only non-insured families will receive such an extra allowance.<\/p>\n

An increase by 200 lei (10 Euro) will be paid to families hosting orphans. Some 450 lei (24 Euro) are currently paid for the support of these children.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
