Only five Moldovan singers will attend the final pre-selection for representation of Moldova at the International Song Contest Eurovision-2006, which Athens will host on May 20. <\/p>\n

The commercial director of the broadcasting company TeleRadio-Moldova, Vasile Duca, chairman of the working committee Eurovision-2006, stated to BASA that eight candidates have applied for participation in the final pre-selection and Ludmila Znamenskaia, Vadim Luchin and Svetlana Sertova, Sergiu Cuzencoff, duet Arsenium and Natalia Gordienco, and Marcella have been selected. "The singers will perform in this order," Duca noted. <\/p>\n

According to organisers, the final pre-selection will take place in a studio of TeleRadio-Moldova on March 15, at 21:45, and it will be broadcasted live by the TV channel Moldova-1. A jury and spectators will select the winner. Spectators will be able to vote the favourite singer by telephone within ten minutes only after the last candidate performs. <\/p>\n

Thus, the public will be able to select the favourite singer by calling 999XX (for mobile telephony subscribers) or 0900999XX (for wire telephony subscribers). The last two digits will depend on the number of favourite singer. <\/p>\n

The tariff of a call via wire or mobile telephone will be five lei plus VAT. A call for Tempo subscribers will be worth one national minute, while Alocard users will pay seven units for a vote. <\/p>\n
