Flydubai launched its first flight to Chisinau International Airport (KIV) on Wednesday. This is Moldova’s first direct connection to Dubai that will be operated Wednesdays and Sundays. Fares on Chisinau – Dubai route start from 340 Euro return.<\/p>\n

“Chisinau offers our passengers another route into Europe and continues the expansion of Flydubai’s network in the region. We look forward to the tourist and business opportunities that this link offers to both the UAE and Moldova,” said Flydubai’s Chief Executive Officer, Al Ghaith in a press release.<\/p>\n

An agreement on air services was signed between the Government of Moldova and Government of United Arab Emirates on Tuesday. This has set the legal framework to start service between the two countries.<\/p>\n

“We are happy that passengers from Moldova will benefit from services provided by an airline with a great potential,” said Vasile Botnari, Moldovan Minister of Transportation. “The Moldovans are interested in Flydubai in order to make connections with destinations in Europe, the Middle East, the Indian Ocean region and Asia-Pacific.”<\/p>\n

FlyDubai currently provides services on more than 65 destinations across the Middle East, Subcontinent, Africa, Russia and Eastern Europe. It is a state-owned airline, operating from Terminal 2 at Dubai International Airport.<\/p>\n
