Moldovan Prime Minister Iurie Leanca will travel to Erevan in the near future to enhance the economic ties with Armenia. Visiting Chisinau on Thursday, Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan agreed with Iurie Leanca to intensify the trade between Moldova and Armenia.<\/p>\n

Therefore, an intergovernmental commission in the trade-economy area will be created.<\/p>\n

“We are interested in improving the relations with Armenia, including the economic ties,” Iurie Leanca said. “There is a potential between the two countries that will be capitalized. I am sure both countries will benefit from this.”<\/p>\n

Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan is visiting Moldova amid the organization of the Eastern Partnership Summit of the European People’s Party (EPP) leaders that is due to take place Thursday afternoon in Chisinau.<\/p>\n

Among the participants are Moldova’s Liberal-Democrat Party President Vlad Filat, Prime Minister of Moldova Iurie Leanca (PLDM), and President of Georgia Mikheil Saakashvili (UNM President).
