Moldova is planning on integrating the information technologies and communications in the educational sector during the next four years. As Moldpres news agency reported, the Ministry of Education and the Microsoft Company signed a cooperation agreement in this regard on April 16.<\/p>\n

The agreement involves several initiatives, such as the usage of the Live@edu service, a system meant to provide the students and teachers with access to many educational platforms.<\/p>\n

Another project envisages the acquisition of laptops which will be used by students in several schools all over Moldova. However, not every student in every school will benefit from this.<\/p>\n

At university level will be implemented the Microsoft IT Academy programme, which will help the students and professors get training in the Microsoft technology sector. It is also expected to enhance the IT skills of the students and prepare them from jobs in the IT sector.  <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
