More than 5 million liters of wine originating from Moldova have been exported to the European Union market during the first three months of 2013, Moldovan Ministry of Economy reports.<\/p>\n

The Licensing Chamber has issued 354 authorizations for the export of 5.6 million liters of wine. The Czech Republic, Poland, Romania and Slovakia are the top export destinations.<\/p>\n

The same authority reports that 11 authorizations have been issued for sugar exports. Some 8,386 tons of sugar made in Moldova were exported mainly to Romania and Poland.<\/p>\n

The least amount of authorizations has been issued for cereal crops. Only five authorizations have been issued for 2,411 tons of wheat. The main export destinations were Romania and the United Kingdom.<\/p>\n

As of 2008 the European Union has granted Moldova a so-called Autonomous Trade Preference which allows the Moldovan enterprises to export to the EU member states on more than 10,000 tariffs free of duty.  <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
