The International Finance Corporation (IFC) in partnership with FMO and DEG have successfully completed staggering the loan of 70 million dollars to the Group of Companies "Trans Oil". The transaction was announced in August 2012.<\/p>\n

Vincenzo Turrisi, General Manager of "Trans Oil Group of Companies" noted that this is an important step for the Group "Trans Oil". "With the support of our new partners we are ready to make every effort to increase oilseed processing volumes, expanding the agricultural production and strengthening the market position in regard to international trade in cereals", he said.<\/p>\n

"The main priorities of the project are environmental protection and sustainability of operations. We have already started an important investment in oilseed processing plant "Floarea Soarelui" in Balti. Investment goal is to make it more efficient and greener, as well as to meet the highest international standards", he added.<\/p>\n

According to Vincenzo Turrisi, the agricultural production will become an „increasingly important part of business”, that because Moldova has „a high potential for growth and consolidation”. „IFC support in partnership with DEG and FMO was significant and will help the group to achieve its strategic objectives to become an important regional player”, he concluded.
