The Prime Minister Vlad Filat is outraged that Tiraspol administration imposed new duties for businesses from the right bank of Nistru. The decision was signed by the leader of the separatist region, Yevgeny Shevchuk on the day he met with Vlad Filat. The Prime Minister stated in an interview for Radio Free Europe that the decision took him by surprise.<\/p>\n

“I’m surprised because it is the case to have at least a discussion in this regard. But it keeps to the official part. However, if we look at this objectively, the duties imposed are to ensure the balance to the duties introduced by Republic of Moldova. In this respect, we will have a discussion with necessary explanations, so that too much speculation is not allowed in this regard. It is disturbing because it didn’t happen a day after, but in the morning of the day we met”, Vlad Filat stated for Radio Free Europe.<\/p>\n

The Prime Minister said this issue was not discussed during his meeting with Yevgeny Shevchuk. “We didn’t talk about this issue, I wasn’t told about this… The form disturbs, but the content should make us be optimistic. That’s why I will continue working, together with my colleagues, to have a result in the resolution process of the Transnistrian conflict”, Vlad Filat stressed.<\/p>\n

According to the decision, additional duties are imposed on products such as: alcoholic beverages, gas, cigarettes, precious metal, clothes, appliances and other.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
