“What concerns the visit to Moscow, it was agreed with the prime Minister of the Russian Federation, Dmitry Medvedev. It is an important visit for us because we have to button up all the details in what concerns the migration process, our relations in the energy sector”, declared the Prime Minister Vlad Filat in an interview for Radio Europa Libera.<\/p>\n

Vlad Filat stated that the gas contract with Russia should be signed by the end of this year. “It should be signed by the end of this year, because we are extending it. It is the third extension of the contract – the first was for three months, repeated for three months and now we are extending it again to the end of this year to ensure predictability. We are working towards this goal”, added the Prime Minister.<\/span><\/p>\n

“We are monitoring the price of the gas supply for Moldova to be based on the principles of the market economy. We do not ask gas supply at a lower price or a preferential treatment. Everything has to be based on economic reasoning. Currently we pay an Economic price, with no facility”, he concluded.<\/span><\/p>\n

It is to note that today in the morning the Government’s Press Service announced that the Prime Minister will pay a working visit to Moscow on August 10-11th<\/sup>, at the invitation of Dmitry Medvedev.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
