Usatii said that it is necessary to create 10 district hospitals, so that people be not forced to Chisinau for medical investigations. The minister added that healthcare institutions in 126 settlements are short-staffed, with district doctors being obliged to regularly visit these villages.<\/p>\n<p>Usatii said that relevant bodies are working to amend the healthcare legislation in order to fight corruption and protectionism.
