They are concerned of the high-speed and environmentally friendly means of transport, road quality improvement, including railways. There must be implemented 3 projects in the field of the regional environmental conditions improvement, which are aimed at the water quality restoring, environmental risks managing and biodiversity preserving, and also at the forecasting of floods and industrial catastrophes.<\/p>\n<p>The EU will help Moldova elaborating concrete projects on the flood reduction in zones of risk till 2010, so the population will be protected against this natural disaster, and the Government will not have to spend vast sums of money for building houses.<\/p>\n<p>Oliver Baudelet said that there will be implemented projects on enterprise developing, goods and innovation service presentation and also for providing best jobs.<\/p>\n<p>According to him, the living conditions improvement in Moldova is one of the main goals of the Strategy; there will be implemented projects for the poverty level reduction and social integration of the Roma; for providing cheaper and environmentally friendly energy; for promoting culture and tourism in the Danube region, and also the country safety.<\/p>\n<p>He said Moldova must develop the river and railway transport, increase the sea freight transportation by 20% at least for a quick economic development till 2020.<\/p>\n<p>According to Dumitru Alaiba, representative of the Moldova State Chancellery, the EU Strategy will allow Moldova strengthening its cooperation with many countries of the European Union.
