About 60% of Moldovan population considers that reforms implemented in the state are inefficient. The information was provided by the Moldovan Association of Sociologists and Demographers, which conducted the public opinion poll Vox Populi in August with topic Socio-Economical and Political Aspects of Moldovan Society on the Eve of the September 5 Constitutional Referendum.<\/p>\n

Vice-Chairman of the association Victor Dumbraveanu said on Thursday, the index was about 52% in January 2010.<\/p>\n

"Only the each fifth citizen positively appreciates all implemented reforms. About 19% of respondents could not answer this question. Such vote distribution testifies probably of a negative attitude to the state development direction", Dumbraveanu said.<\/p>\n

About half of respondents said the living standard of locality population went down against the January 2010 (44%). About 42% of respondents consider the living standard is the same and only 9% – it improved.<\/p>\n

70% of respondents said they suffered of the world economical crisis, 22% – did not feel its consequences, and 8% have not decided yet. About 67% said about the economical situation that it worsened (61%) and that it is better (only 5%).<\/p>\n

Besides, 34% said they kept the faith that present leadership is able to improve the situation – against 47% in the beginning of the year, 49% are skeptical about that (38% in January), and 17% could not answer.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
