Most wine producing states consume inside country about 70% of their wine products, and Romania even more -90%&quot;, Ghimpu said. Director of the company Victor Bostan said it is possible to double or to treble internal wine consumption through mediation of government and president.<\/p>\n<p>According to him, Moldovans consume about 4 million bottles of wine every year, but export about 100-120 million bottles; and it &quot;would be better to reach the 50:50 correlation in domestic and foreign markets&quot;. Purcari company produces about 1 million bottles of wine per year, a quarter of them is sold in Moldova. Most considerable importers of this company&#8217;s wines are Romania, Poland, Germany and Japan.
