The MPs of the ruling alliance today passed amendments to the law on the 2010 state budget in two readings.<\/p>\n

Finance Minister Veaceslav Negruta said that incomes stood at 16,331 billion lei (about 1 billion euros) and spending at 19,781 billion lei. "The deficit is 3.4 billion lei and will be covered from external sources (the International Monetary Fund, the World Bank and the EU). Also incomes from privatization will be used to this end too," Negruta said.<\/p>\n

In line with the operated amendment, the public broadcasting company Teleradio-Moldova will receive an extra 15 million lei. Sources necessary for social payments will be supplemented too. "The budget may be adjusted if necessary most probably in September," Negruta said.<\/p>\n

The amendments were possible due to the fact that the public incomes went up by 13 per cent compared with the same period of 2009.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
