The Government will sell 22,000 tonnes of food wheat from the state reserve with the aim of supporting the agricultural producers during the spring sowing campaign.<\/p>\n

At the same time, the Government entrusted the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry and the Agency for Material Reserves, Public Acquisitions and Humanitarian Aid with the task to replenish the reserve with wheat from the new harvest.<\/p>\n

Under a Government Decision made on Wednesday, the Agency for Material Reserves, Public Acquisitions and Humanitarian Aid will sell the 22,000 tonnes of wheat by open auctions on the Universal Commodity Exchange of Moldova in lots of 1,000-5,000 tonnes.<\/p>\n

A tonne of wheat containing 18-21% of gluten will cost 1,600 lei, 22-24% of gluten – 1,700 lei, and over 25% of gluten – 1,800 lei.<\/p>\n

According to the same decision, the Government will purchase 40 tonnes of fodder wheat from the old harvest for 1,100 lei a tonne to restock the state reserve of fodder wheat.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
