The Moldovan Wine Days have been opened in Moscow as part of the sixteenth international exhibition Prodexpo. The Moldovan delegation is composed of 20 wine businesses, including Lion Gri, Romanesti, Vinaria Purcari, Barza Alba, Combinatul de vinuri Cricova, etc.<\/p>\n

“The Moldovan wine companies at the exhibit aim to establish new contacts and promote the Moldovan wine products, improve the image of the wines and win worldwide recognition,” Minister of Economy and Trade Igor Dodon said at the opening of the Moldovan Wine Days in Moscow.<\/p>\n

Prodexpo is one of the largest international exhibitions of food products and drinks in Russia and Eastern Europe. Over 2,600 companies from about 70 countries take part in the exhibit every year. Last year, the exhibition was visited by more than 110,000 people.<\/p>\n

Forty-four companies have so far been authorized to export wine products to Russia. After the ban on the import of Moldovan wine products into Russia was lifted in November last year, Moldova exported 26.7 million liters of wine and 3.9 million liters of cognac to this country.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
