A liter of diesel oil cost 11 lei, down from 11.8 lei, while a liter of Ai-95 gasoline sold for 9.7 lei, down from 10.4 lei. <\/p>\n<p>Since August, the wholesale price of diesel oil has dropped by 34%. The world oil prices have decreased by about 40%. Representatives of Moldovan oil importers say that if the prices continue to fall on the world markets, the retail prices of gasoline and diesel oil in Moldova will also go down. <br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" hspace=\"5\" src=\"http:\/\/reporter.md\/images\/news\/plinul.jpg\" width=\"220\" align=\"right\" vspace=\"5\" alt=\"\" \/><br \/>\nThe importers also say that a shortage of fuel, especially diesel oil, follows after the sharp decline in the prices of oil products because the export of diesel oil for processing companies in such a situation is by US$200 cheaper. <\/p>\n<p>The agricultural producers in Moldova received considerable support from the large oil importing companies, which provided the farmers with diesel oil on credit.
