The expectations of the Moldovan economic entities wakened for the third consecutive month, influenced directly by the appreciation of the national currency that hits producers, shows the “National Sentiment” study carried out by IDIS ”Viitorul”. <\/p>\n

During the presentation of the study on October 7, study author Mihai Bologan said that the appreciation of the leu against the dollar and euro will continue to affect the national producers working in a number of areas, especially the construction sector, which is considered one of the most profitable areas. <\/p>\n

Bologan said the construction companies are uncertain because they do not have now guaranteed sales. He stressed that the construction sector will recover in spring, but until then the prices of apartments could go down.

\nFor the first time in September, the expectations of the agricultural companies weakened owing to the problems faced in the winemaking and winegrowing and grain growing sectors.
\nExpectations in the transport and communications sector also decreased, due to the rise in the prices of services and lower demand. <\/p>\n

The Moldovan economic entities expect an inflation rate of 1.4% in October. Inflation in August was 0.7% or by 0.3% lower than expected by companies. <\/p>\n

The study is carried out monthly by experts of the Institute for Development and Social Initiative IDIS “Viitorul”. They monitor companies working in agriculture, trade, construction, industry, service sector, transport and communications.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
