The Moldovan authorities forecast that the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) of Moldova over 2009-2011 will rise by at least 6% yearly. <\/p>\n

Sources in the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Economy and Trade have told REPORTER.MD that the average-term macroeconomic indicators were assessed by experts of the ministries and subdivisions. <\/p>\n

According to experts, the GDP in 2009 will be 70.5 billion lei (US$7.3bn), in 2010 – 77.5 billion lei (US$8bn), in 2011 – 85.1 billion lei (US$8.8bn). It is projected that the GDP in 2008 will rise by 7.5%, to 62.7 billion lei (US$6.5bn). <\/p>\n
