The industrial enterprises of all forms of ownership in the first seven months of this year produced goods to the value of 16.449,42 billion lei in current prices. Compared with the same period last year, the industrial production made up 103.6% in comparable prices. In July this year, the industrial output was 98.8% on last July. <\/p>\n

According to the National Bureau of Statistics, the larger industrial production volume was due to the 9.1% rise in production levels at the enterprises of the food and beverages industry and to the 6.8% increase in production levels at the companies working in energy industry. <\/p>\n

Production of wine rose 1.5 times, of distilled alcoholic drinks – 1.4 times, hot water supply – by 14.5%, of bread and bakery products – by 13.0%, of canned meat and meat products – by 11.7%, of electric power – by 3.8%, of optical, precision and other medical instruments and equipment – by 27.6%, of dairy products – by 6.1%, etc. <\/p>\n

Production of tanned and dressed leather increased 1.7 times, of machine tools – by 19.3%, of paints and lacquers – by 18.5%, of medications and pharmaceutical products – by 14%, of wooden objects – by 13.3%, etc. <\/p>\n
