The first 20 young people benefited from loans as part of the National Youth Economic Empowerment Program. <\/p>\n

According to the Ministry of Economy and Trade, the loans granted vary between 245,000 lei and 300,000 lei, totaling 5.7 million lei. The money will be used to purchase milk processing and bread making equipment, equipment for working wood and making furniture, tractors, refrigerators, incubators, etc. The young people that obtained loans are from Hancesti, Edinet, Rascani, Soldanesti, Leova, and Glodeni districts. \"\"<\/p>\n

A number of 1,691 young people have been consulted as part of the program. 339 persons filed applications for participation in training courses. Out of 339 persons, 33.3% would choose agriculture as area of activity, 28.3% – industry, while 26% service provision. <\/p>\n

The program will be implemented in rural areas and will support the people aged between 18 and 30 that want to start their own business in villages or develop the existing businesses, on condition that they create new workplaces. <\/p>\n

The young people benefit from preferential loans of up to 300,000 lei, repayable in 5 years. 60% of the loan and the interest will be repaid by the beneficiaries. If the basic sum of the loan is repaid in due time, the other 40% will be transformed into non-reimbursable grant without calculating the interest. <\/p>\n
