The Moldovan companies Metalros SRL and Unextrans SRL became residents of the free economic zone Ungheni-Business. <\/p>\n

According to the Ministry of Economy and Trade, Metalros SRL will implement a project to produce molded metal objects and sell metal products wholesale. <\/p>\n

The company intends to invest about 620,000 euros in technological equipment. The raw material will be imported from Ukraine and Russia. Some 15% of the finished products will be sold in Moldova, while the rest will be exported to Romania. <\/p>\n

Metalros SRL will start work in September this year. It plans net sales of up to 200,000 euros for the first year and of 250,000 euros and 320,000 euros for the next two years. Initially, the company will employ seven persons that will receive an average monthly salary of 300 euros. It the third year, the number of employees will be raised to 15. <\/p>\n

Unextrans SRL will invest 71,500 euros in a project to produce europallets. The raw material will be imported from Ukraine. The products will be exported to Romania as well as CIS countries. <\/p>\n

The company plans a turnover of up to 690,000 euros a year. It will also start work this autumn. Its 26 employees will get US$250 a month. <\/p>\n
