Nine Moldovan joint stock companies have real chances of entering the London Stock Exchange, which is one of the most prestigious in Europe, a study by the Rating and Estimation Agency Estimator-VM says. <\/p>\n

According to the study, the commercial banks Moldova Agroindbank and Victoriabank have the best chances of being quoted on the London Stock Exchange, followed by the companies Produse Cerealiere, Sudzucker Moldova, Lafarge Ciment, Alfa Nistru, Carmez, Floarea Soarelui and Macon. <\/p>\n

The state-owned companies Moldtelecom, Banca de Economii, Tutun-CTC and Barza Alba also have good chances, but the state should first sell its holdings in these companies. <\/p>\n

The companies from Moldova can enter the Alternative Investment Market (AIM), which is intended for young companies. AIM does not impose listing conditions, but the companies must have an authorized capital of minimum 5 million euros. <\/p>\n

According to the maximum values of the exchange capitalization of the largest Moldovan companies, the initial tax for entering AIM will be fixed and will be 5,870 pounds (114,761 lei). <\/p>\n
