The cereal and rape harvest this year will total about 1.8 million tonnes, according to specialists. <\/p>\n

The Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry said that the reaping of pea, barley and rape is coming to an end. The harvest in the districts of Briceni, Glodeni, Rascani and Donduseni will be higher than 30 quintals per hectare. But in Aneni Noi district, the harvest will be only 13 quintals per hectare. <\/p>\n

The barley was reaped from an area of 64,800 hectares (91.7%). The average productivity is about 33.5 quintals per hectare. The wheat was harvested in proportion of 40% (108,100 hectares).
