This year the Government will buy wheat for the state reserve at a price of 3 lei per kilogram of wheat with a gluten content of 18-20%, 3.15 lei – for the wheat with a gluten content of 21-22%, 3.35 lei and 3.5 lei for the wheat with a gluten content of 23-24% and, respectively, of 25% and more. <\/p>\n

According to the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry, the Government fixed the prices taking into account the forecasts that the average wheat yield per hectare in 2008 will be about 3 tonnes. <\/p>\n

Approximately 50,000 tonnes of food wheat will be purchased for the state reserve this year. A certain quantity of wheat will be bought from every district of Moldova, fixed according to the size of the wheat fields. \"\"<\/p>\n

The economic entities that will offer wheat for the state reserve will be exempted from paying the fees for participating in the tender contest. <\/p>\n
