The state holdings in 40 joint stock companies will be exhibited for sale on the Moldova Stock Exchange between June 16 and 20. First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Trade Igor Dodon told a news conference that the total initial value of the state-owned shares is 270.8 million lei, while their nominal value is 236.9 million lei. <\/p>\n

At the auctions held during March 4-17, the state sold its holdings in 16 companies for 61.85 million lei. <\/p>\n

Under the national legislation, the state-owned shares can be bought by private individuals and legal entities from Moldova, except for public administration authorities, municipal state companies, institutions financed from the state budget and local budgets.
