The prices of the building services will increase in the near future and will lead to a new rise in the prices of real estate, says a study carried out by the Institute for Development and Social Initiative (IDIS) “Viitorul”, which was made public in Chisinau on May 12. <\/p>\n

At a news conference on Monday, the author of the study Mihai Bologan said that such a situation will be the result of the rise of about 20% in the prices of building materials this spring. According to Bologan, the great inflationist expectations of the consumers will also push the real estate prices up. They expect big price rises and many of them are disposed to pay more. The rising demand for apartments is another factor contributing to higher prices. <\/p>\n

According to the Construction Confidence Index, about 64.4% of the building companies say they will raise the prices of the services they provide, while roughly 3% say they will significantly increase the prices. <\/p>\n

Only 1.9% of the economic entities operating in the construction sector said they plan to decrease the prices in the next three months, while one third of them said they will keep the prices at the same level. <\/p>\n
